CAVEATS
The maps are thorough, but not exhaustive, as every publicly available location can’t be covered. Occasional updates may occur.
The maps show heavily guarded locations as well as somewhat vulnerable ones. The figurative red triangle over each one should stay figurative until you have done your own research and made a plan with your comrades. Refer to the Take Action page for ideas.
MAP 1: JMC CONNECTIONS
This installment features 12 Joint Munitions Command(JMC) Plants across 11 states. It maps approximately 845 miles of STRACNET rail, scoped out by Google Search with the help of a few anarchist blogs. The boxed in stretches of rail appear to be exclusive to munitions transport. Though mostly surrounded by wilderness or sparsely populated towns, it can be assumed that there are no shortage of motion-activated cameras and sensors along the routes due to the sensitive cargo.
The rails traced in red/gray appear to be arterial, connecting the plants to one another and to sea and air transit. These were approximated from scanning the Google Earth satellite capture and cross referencing with declassified STRACNET maps. This approximated network reaches almost the entire eastern USA, 4500 miles over 20 states. The rails outside the boxes drawn converge with other railroads, meaning that the tracks are used for critical, commercial, and passenger lines.

MAP 2: RECRUITING OFFICES BY CITY
The most crucial tool of the military is arguably human labor. According to a recent DoD report, enlistment in the military is at an all time low, calling for redoubled recruitment efforts. This crisis is expected to intensify as ongoing war efforts against Venezuela may call for boots on the ground. This map explores how those efforts play out across the country. The marker labels are based off of the Google maps listing/picture; for the most part they are interchangeable. Keep an eye out for exclusive branches, though.
Acronyms:
- USAR/USARS/USARO: Recruiting station for multiple branches, often found in strip malls, shopping centers, and indoor malls, as well as government plazas and buildings.
- AFCC: Armed Forces Career Center/Army Career Center. Also found in commercial areas.
- ANGR: Army National Guard Recruiting, usually a standalone building.
- ARC/MRC: Army/Military recruiting center, usually on a university campus.
MAP 3: DEFENSE CONTRACTORS
A vast majority of defense, intelligence, and artillery for the USAF, Navy, and Marine Corps. are provided by private contractors. Many of these corporations also work in space exploration, and it is worth noting that this is not a separate, peaceful endeavor. Space exploration will become increasingly important in modern warfare, and if past military activity is anything to go by, this will not be used for the good of the common people. The missiles manufactured by these corporations are used in the Korean Theater in displays of aggression towards the DPRK, sold to Israel to continue the Gaza genocide, and, in coming weeks, will undoubtedly be aimed at the sovereign states of Iran, Cuba, and Venezuela, who the US clearly intend to destabilize for personal gain. The intelligence technology provided advances these efforts, and, following the trajectory of our imperial boomerang, will eventually circle back to bolster the surveillance state.
This map is distinct from the munitions plant rail because it includes corporate offices. Most of the larger locations are somewhat isolated and heavily secured. Satellite images show high fences, locked gates, and “No Trespassing” signs. The smaller locations are ensconced in more populated settings, including office buildings and business suites. However, there is still some level of clearance required to come anywhere near the jealously guarded tools of empire.
Once again, due to sheer ubiquity and lack of public information on some locations, this map remains incomplete. The list below tallies all locations featured.

MAP 4: ICE
This map identifies six different branches of ICE and ICE-adjacent facilities, with 122 locations in total. Since many are located in larger government buildings, there is some overlap. When viewed in Google Earth, all facilities that include a recruiting office are pinned in yellow.
Field Offices act as regional headquarters, where Enforcement and Removal Operations(ERO) are coordinated throughout that offices Area of Responsibility. Some detention services are provided(or so ICE claims). The Removal Division also operates out of field offices.
Office of Partnership and Engagement(OPE) locations “advocate and represent interests of ICE to the public, engages with stakeholders to dispel rumors and share accurate agency information.” In other words, ICE has its own internal crisis PR network.
Homeland Security Investigations(HSI) recruiting centers gather the most vital resource for ICE: human labor. Unlike the struggling military recruitment sector, ICE recruiters are flourishing, targeting older demographics and law enforcement with promises of cushy sign-up bonuses and a steady income.
An Office of the Principle Legal Advisor(OPLA), is a primary location for immigration hearings. The map does not cover them as thoroughly, but they are featured, usually in conjunction with other offices.
So far, only two Law Enforcement Support Centers have been identified on the map. Nestled away in Williston, VT and Washington D.C., these cop call centers operate around the clock, reporting tips to allow ICE to track down undocumented migrants more efficiently.
Detention facilities include standard correctional facilities and county jails as listed on the ICE website, but the focus is primarily on migrant-specific locations, as these are known for their especially inhumane conditions.
Breakdown of the numbers
- OPE/ERO/OPLA: 28 locations
- 11 of which are field offices
- HSI recruiting: 26 locations
- Detention Facilities: 65 locations*
- 41 of which appear to be ICE specific
- 24 of which are correctional or county jails that ICE lists on their website**
- The map shows a ~1:5 ratio of field offices to detention centers, which is likely a low estimate. We could not verify a correlation.
- 2 LESC offices.
*When viewed on Google Earth and Google Maps, roughly ten locations are pinned with a pollution icon. This indicates that either the ICE website or Google Maps address brazenly stated their affiliation with CoreCivic and GeoGroup.
**These are immoral and exploitative as well, however, I do not have the capacity to get into the beast of the prison industrial complex.
MAP 5: DATA CENTERS
Not only are data centers depleting the planet’s already critical fresh water supply, they are inextricably tied to the war machine. It is no secret that AI is becoming more and more critical in modern warfare, and companies like Palantir are using your data as a point of reference.
The ongoing boom of data centers bears a faint resemblance to ideals associated with American propaganda: a reflection of popular demand, abundance, and rapid development. No wonder so many people shrug and look away until it’s their water supply being drained. But the real motivation is much more sinister. Tech billionaires like Peter Thiel and Bill Gates make no secret of their vision– they wish to cull just enough people to be useful, and leave the rest for dead. I have no doubt that they plan to turn water into another high-price commodity. The generative/assistive AI models supported by these centers are worse than useless. They are clearly designed to keep users glued to the screen for as long as possible, no matter the consequence. And even if they weren’t clunky, sycophantic error machines, no amount of personal convenience is worth the future of the human race.
This installment of the project is split into two parts: Map 5A shows existing data centers, a total of 106 in 33 US states. Meta, Google, and Tierpoint are most prominent. Map 5B shows 145+ planned data centers, incomplete due to the sheer volume. Information on development can be limited, since the business dealings of big tech are locked away with iron-clad NDAs.
